These rules have been established to allow EVERYONE to have a safe and Enjoyable time at our flying field. Disregard and/or abuse of these rules will result in written warnings and/or expulsionfrom the club. The decision on expulsion from the club will be by a simple majority vote of active club members.
1. All AMA safety rules and Club By-Laws apply to all flying sites.
2. A preflight inspection and radio range check is required for all new aircraft.
3. Until a flier has become proficient in all aspects of flying, he/she will fly only in the presence of an experienced pilot or at a time when the field is unoccupied by other fliers or spectators.
4. No FM transmitter may be turned on by anyone without the correct frequency pin attached to the pilots antenna. The pin must be replaced after each use.
5. Pilots with 2.4 Ghz radios are not required to use the pin system.
6. All aircraft will be kept behind the chain link fence when not in use.
7. All gas or glow engines above .15 cubic inches will have an effective muffler.
8. Aircraft in the air and on a landing approach have priority over aircraft on the ground. Each flier will check for aircraft on landing approach before taxing onto runway or attempting a take off.
9. During flying, only pilots and their assistants are allowed beyond the chain link fenceseparating the runway.
10. There will be NO FLYING OVER THE PIT AREA, SPECTATOR AREA, VEHICLE PARKING OR ANY BUILDINGS.
11. Each member is responsible for the removal of all trash, fuel cans, bottles, etc. The club does not provide trash removal nor does it provide trash receptacles at the field.
12. No drunkenness, drug use, or unsportsmanlike conduct will be tolerated.
13. Do not leave children or pets unattended.
14. Gas/glow engines may only be started on the starting tables in the pits area.
15. Electrics may be tested in the shed area with an assistant.
16. Pilots may fly during grass cutting at their own risk and at the discretion of the mower.
17. Visitors are welcomed and allowed to fly with proof of a AMA membership.
18. The last member flying is required to lock the front gate.
CONTINUED DISREGARD AND ABUSE OF CLUB OR AMA RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP.
